To those who are new to the world of Photoshop, this introduction takes the fear out of getting started and learning the basics. I will explain the fundamental characteristics of digital images and image manipulation, and will demonstrate the basic tools, including:

This workshop provides step-by-step instructions and practical photographic applications. You’ll come away from this class with the ability to do basic image manipulation and with a foundation for moving to the next step in Photoshop. (Instruction is given in Photoshop CS4)

Beginners who are new to Photoshop (including anyone who wants to “move up” to the full-featured Photoshop program from other more limited or less convenient image editing programs such as Photoshop Express, Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro, Picasa, etc.) |

Location: Horizon Workshops – Chesapeake City, Maryland Cost: $185 Experience: A beginners desire to learn how to use Photoshop to improve your photographs. Recommended Equipment: Laptop with photoshop (CS4 recommended) Maximum Class Size: 12 Schedule: 10:00AM – 5:30PM (45 minute break for lunch) Note: The next step in Photoshop is my class: “Making Your Images Sparkle,” is given on the Sunday following this Saturday class.
